Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates Welcomes Dr. Kenneth Lindley, MD – Elevating Orthopedic
Care in the Tri-Cities
KENNEWICK, WA – Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates (BFOA) is proud to announce the addition of
Dr. Kenneth Lindley, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in hand and
upper extremity surgery. Dr. Lindley’s arrival marks a significant step forward in ensuring that Tri-Cities
residents have access to world-class orthopedic care without leaving the community.
“Dr. Kenneth Lindley is not only a skilled surgeon but also a compassionate physician who truly invests in
his patients’ well-being,” said Jamie Brackenbury, Practice Administrator at BFOA. “His commitment to
informed, thorough care ensures that every patient understands their condition and treatment options.
We are thrilled to have him on our team, elevating the standard of care right here at home.”
Dr. Lindley earned dual bachelor’s degrees in zoology and chemistry from Weber State University, where
he also competed on the Division I tennis team. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State
University College of Medicine and Public Health and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the
University of South Carolina School of Medicine, serving as chief resident and providing medical support
for varsity football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and swimming teams. He further advanced his
expertise through a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship at Triangle Orthopaedic Associates in
Durham, North Carolina, where he also supported Campbell University’s varsity basketball and soccer
teams.
He brings an additional year of fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery, focusing on
complex conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow, along with extensive experience in orthopedic trauma
care. He offers comprehensive care for upper extremity injuries and conditions caused by age or
overuse. His surgical approach often includes arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to reduce
recovery time. He also provides non-surgical treatment for Dupuytren’s disease, including in-office
procedures and Xiaflex medication, and delivers fracture care.
"I want my patients to know I truly care and am invested in their improvement," said Dr. Lindley. "My
goal is for every patient to leave better than when they arrived. Patients are empowered when they
understand their problem, their options, and make the best decision for their personal situation."
When asked for a funny story from his career, Dr. Lindley shared: "Removing casts can be intimidating for kids because the saw looks and sounds scary. To ease fears, I tried a trick where you touch the saw to your hand to show it’s safe. Unfortunately, I wore a glove, and when the blade tore it, the glove flap whipped around wildly sending the child into tears instead of reassurance! Lesson learned: no gloves for that demo!"
